Solar Night Industries and the good folks at Cherokee Diversified Services Inc., have teamed up for another modern energy solution.
The concrete has been poured and the Skystream 3.7 wind turbine is ready to adorn the Fort Worth, Texas area skyline. This remarkably quiet (decibel level comparible to that of background noise) wind energy system will produce up to 450 kWh/month--based on a consistent 12mph wind. If the wind is consistent at 22mph a month this turbine will produce up to 1000 kWh/month! Whenever I hear figures like this I get all excited and hop on over to an on-line carbon calculator to see how much CO2 is being kept out of the environment. I'll be right back...
...Wow!! At 450 kWh/month the Skystream 3.7 is keeping 3.27 tons of CO2 out of our environment each year!! And, at 600 kWh/month it will keep out 4.36 tons a year!!!
I know, I'm a carbon nerd...
More on this wind energy system in the coming weeks. In the meantime contact our friends at VETSS to get a renewable energy site assessment. That way you can be on your way to creating your own clean energy too...
